Joe Rosenberger comes to us from New York, where he served over 20 years with the NYC Police Department, retiring as a Sergeant. Joe was assigned to Patrol, Precinct conditions, and the Fugitive Enforcement Division as a Police Officer. As a sergeant, his assignments included Patrol Bureau Bronx, the Internal Affairs Bureau use of force unit, and the Bureau's Investigative Resource Division, along with multiple assignments with the Intelligence Bureau, which provided dignitary protection during the UN General Assembly. His training includes but is not limited to the HIDTA 1 Narcotics – Dynamic Entry and High-Risk Warrants Course, Fugitive Investigations, Homicide Investigations, Sex Crimes Investigations, Internal Investigations, and the Criminal Investigator Course, as well as over 600 hours of Police Academy training. Joe was certified by the NYPD with the Glock 19 semi-auto, Smith & Wesson Model 640 revolver, ASP Baton, Taser, and OC Spray. Joe was also heavily involved in the 9/11 recovery efforts. He is an active member of FOP Lodge 3100, the NYPD SBA, and ASIS International.
He is a Licensed Florida Firearms Instructor, an NRA Certified Firearms & LE Instructor in pistol and shotgun, In and Out of the Home Personal Protection, In the Home Firearms Safety, National Concealed Carry Course, and NRA Chief Range Safety Officer. He also continues his training with the NRA to advance his certifications. Joe is also a licensed Florida Security Guard Instructor (DI) and a Certified Simunitions Instructor.
